This project explores the hidden narratives surrounding serial crimes that have historically been underreported, misrepresented, or overlooked. Invisible Predator sheds light on systemic gaps in law enforcement, media coverage, and public awareness, particularly in cases involving marginalized communities. The visual concept centers around a dimly lit investigative board, symbolizing both discovery and neglect. The use of shadows, pinned photographs, and fragmented notes reflects the complexity and obscurity of these cases. A solitary figure studying the board reinforces the idea of delayed justice and the burden of uncovering forgotten truths.
The contrasting design between the front and back cover highlights dual perspectives:
Front: Investigation, tension, and revelation
Back: Context, reflection, and critical questioning
The bold typography and minimal color palette accented by red represent urgency, danger, and the need for attention. Overall, the project merges storytelling with design to provoke thought, raise awareness, and challenge the viewer to reconsider what is often left unseen.
