Educated in both interior and graphic design to degree level, I am experienced in both residential and commercial interior design, with a strong sense of the interaction between colour, texture, materials and light. My work is sensitive to detail and I have a passion towards sustainable environments which enhance well-being. My style of design is emotive and expressive and I like to work with biophilic and holistic design, which stimulates the senses in a positive way. I will take a detailed client background to be able to develop a concept into a space which feels unique and personal. Within commercial interior settings, my graphic design background enables me to integrate type and brand into a space.
My sector experience and knowledge includes retail and hospitality, spa and sauna and luxury residential. I work with drawings from the initial sketchpad through to spatial plans, elevations and lighting plans and onto material and FF&E specification. I also work with type, branding, packaging, print, signage, surface pattern and creating bespoke illustration.
I have worked internationally in Sydney, Australia; I created the brand story, design and packaging for an organic wellness and skincare brand and worked on various branding, menu and wayfinding projects for restaurant, retail and hotel design.
