Hi, I’m Emanuel Shimizu, an audiovisual creator with over 11 years of experience blending art, culture, and visual communication. I’ve had the joy of working on diverse projects that mix graphic design, video, photography, 2D animation, and conceptual storytelling. My passion is deeply rooted in influences like neuroscience, pixel art, and the rich cultural heritage of Peru. Since 2014, I’ve led creative projects such as Agustina en el Techo, supporting independent bands and Quechua-language content. Alongside this, I’ve collaborated with brands including PepsiCo and Pilsen Trujillo. Currently, I’m excited about a personal project exploring the crossroads of neuroscience and creativity, while continuing to help brands and artists connect with their audiences through meaningful and original visual stories.

uniE608 Bringing smiles to children in the Andes
🫰A small journey through the Andes, told from my experience in just a few seconds💜. I animated this piece for Killari, an initiative that brings dental care to Andean communities in Cusco. A dentist travels these paths carrying more than just services: he brings trust, warmth, and smiles to children who wait eagerly for the arrival of his van—already illustrated so they can recognize it from afar. I was inspired 🧠 by the very first drawing I made for them, an illustration meant to bring people closer. And from there, everything flowed: the animation, the sound, every detail crafted with the same sensitivity 🥹. I built every sound from what I experienced in the Sacred Valley—I know Cusco and its valleys well.✋ I walked those landscapes, heard that wind, those footsteps on the earth, the smells, the animals, the birds, and the silence that arrives when the afternoon turns to night and tells you: “Killari,” which in Quechua means moonlight glow🌕. All of that stayed with me—and I brought it into this animation. I admit, I miss it too. That’s why I wanted to turn the memory into an experience. So you could feel it—even just for a moment 🥹. art 2d animation music corto sonido edit adobeanimate animacion cusco 2danimation cartoon motiondesing olipop explainervideo filmdirector videoeditor animator video
