Siying YU

Hi！
I’m Siying, an independent animation director and 2D animator specializing in music-driven visuals and narrative animation. I’ve been classically trained in piano since childhood and have always been passionate about translating the emotion of music into moving images.

Here are some music-related pieces I’ve directed and animated:

1. Fully directed & animated watercolor music short film (selected by music competition PIAFF animation festival 2026)

2. Animation for the official music video “Aimer” by French band Tryo

3. Animated on production

I have solid experience single-handedly taking projects from concept to final delivery, and I absolutely love giving each unique track its own visual soul.

Feel free to send me your demo anytime — I’ll get back to you with initial hand-draw concept sketches and style ideas.

Really looking forward to the possibility of working together and bringing your music to life visually!

Best regards,

Siying
