I’m a Danish guitarist, songwriter, producer, and music educator with more than 25 years of professional experience. I co-founded Turnip Greens and have written and produced music for the band for over two decades. My foundation includes conservatory training from the Center for Rhythmic Music and Movement, a nine-month music residency in New Orleans, and extensive work within the Danish music scene. I combine deep musical knowledge with hands-on experience in performance, recording, and education. As an educator, I have taught ensemble, music theory, and guitar at folk high schools, talent programmes, after-school programmes, and primary schools, guiding students from beginners to advanced musicians. I spent ten years as the guitarist in the Thorbjørn Risager Houserocking Band, where I also handled PR, video production, and digital content. My style is defined by melodic sensitivity, groove, and a strong rhythmic foundation, rooted in blues, roots, and American traditions. Today, I continue to work across teaching, production, songwriting, and creative collaboration, bringing maturity, versatility, and artistic depth to every project.
