I'm Sophie, a stop-motion animator and video editor based in Sheffield. I love bringing characters to life through expressive movement, practical effects, and collaborative storytelling, using tools like Dragonframe and After Effects. I have recently volunteered at Flycheese, an animation company that supports neurodivergent individuals where I helped the students learn about building sets, puppets and props, creating visual assets, and post production editing. I have also worked at British Muslim TV as a video editor where I also created animated shorts for Ramadan. Furthermore, I have edited videos for DPMS an engineering company, to showcase their latest invention.
