About

Hi, I’m Brendan Hamley. I composed and produced music for the cult horror game Chasing Static which features a liminal ambient soundtrack with occasional high energy action pieces… I’ve also composed for a multi-episode aerial TV series called Border Country (currently in production at the BBC). In the electronic and ambient music world I am sometimes known as SOTOYOTO

I can offer a lifetime’s practical musical expertise with a deep empathy for creating listening experiences that listeners respond to emotionally. I’m stupidly driven to understand how music and sound stimulate our feelings and am always seeking new ways of achieving this.

Got a cool project, easygoing workflow and willingness to try different sonic approaches? That’s what excites me, not day rates.
