My name is Leah "Lee" Spears, and I'm a cartoonist based in the Chicago-land area. My first experience self-publishing/distributing comics and zines was during my final year in undergrad during a holiday art show, though I've been making art for much longer. Since then, I've gained a breadth of experience cartooning through contributing to several publications, and exhibiting at various indie comic festivals across the country. My personal work spans a variety of different genres, mostly focusing on slice-of-life, humor, and sometimes horror. I received her BFA from SAIC (The School of the Art Institute of Chicago), and my MFA in Comics at California College of the Arts.
