I’m organised, approachable, creative and really enjoy collaborating with people. I’m very hardworking, have a friendly and approachable personality and a willingness to learn. I’m also self-motivated, proactive and always give 100% effort towards every task. Throughout my time working at Borderpoint Films and the BFI Film Academy, I’ve demonstrated my ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment. I’ve always been willing to help others with their own tasks and I’ve contributed different ideas as well as solutions to problems to help improve the overall project.
Recently, I’ve started my own film-related YouTube channel called Sam Talks Film where I analyse cinematic films. I specialise in video editing and have excellent knowledge of video production. I’m writing the scripts for my videos and editing them myself using DaVinci Resolve which I’m proficient in. In addition to this, I’m able to edit footage, sound and music at the same time which I feel is an ‘invaluable’ skill to have as a video editor.
