Born in Kavala, Greece in 1995, I have always been deeply passionate about visual storytelling and the expressive power of art. From 2013 to 2019, I pursued Fine Arts and Art Science at the prestigious University of Ioannina, Greece, focusing primarily on painting as my core medium. Throughout my studies, I explored various artistic techniques, including sketching, comics, graphic design, video art, photography, engraving, and installations. This diverse artistic experience enriched my skills, yet my love for painting remained the foundation of my creative journey, culminating in a thesis that focused on contemporary painting. In 2017, I expanded my artistic perspective through an Erasmus exchange program at the renowned Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan, Italy. This pivotal experience allowed me to enhance my painting techniques, gain in-depth knowledge of human anatomy, and learn from distinguished mentors in the heart of Europe’s art capital. Additionally, I completed a year-long internship at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, working as a photographer for the National Library of Greece, honing my skills in photography and visual documentation. My artistic expression focuses on depicting human figures within crowds, influenced by personal experiences, daily life, and subconscious imagery. These figures often appear distorted, representing the complexities of the human condition and the emotional depth of interpersonal relationships. In my paintings, I aim to create a sense of tension and mystery through contrasting textures, vivid colors, and symbolic distortions that challenge conventional perceptions of reality. In addition to my academic background, I hold a Master’s Degree in Audiovisual Arts, broadening my expertise in visual culture and enabling me to approach my work across multiple mediums and disciplines. My unique style, influenced by both fine arts and audiovisual experiences, offers buyers a fresh perspective on contemporary art that resonates with both personal and collective narratives. I am currently working at the Greek National Opera as a painter and special constructions fabricator, further expanding my practice into the realms of scenography and stage design.
