I have been writing poetry and short stories since 2010 and designing games since 2018. I also studied Game design and Narrative Design during a first level professional master called “Game design for promotion of cultural heritage”. My experience in game designing
and prototyping is the result of both personal projects and professional work. I designed fantasy VR experiences for a VR Museum in Bologna and worked as game writer for an interactive fiction mobile game developed by We Are Müesli.
I’m familiar with some game engines: Unity, Bitsy, Construct 2 and RPGmaker. I’ve recently started to use Unreal Engine 5 and its blueprint system. I am also very familiar with interactive fiction writing tools: Twine 2, Ink, Homer, Ren’Py and YarnSpinner.
I enjoy working in a team because it allows the flow of inspiration and constructive criticism in a project. I also really like the worldbuilding phase of a narrative project and I’m sure that I could help enrich the immersivity of your next game.

The game is an anthology of 49 interactive short stories, divided in 7 stories for 7 characters. As game writer, I worked on 2 of the characters, for a total of 14 stories. At the start of the assignment, one of the two characters was already fleshed out, while the second one was in the state of a vague outline which I had the opportunity to flesh out to my liking. Similarly, the stories were in different stages of writing. Some of them had already a defined plot and others were drafts or still empty pages.
The short stories are mainly multiple-choice dialogues with game sessions of a handful of minutes in order to be played from smartphone. The stories are set in Milan over the course of a year. They share the same narrative universe and many side characters appear in different storylines.
The narrative structures vary in complexity, number of endings and variables used. Some stories are simply dialogues between two characters, others try to simulate other kind of situations, such as: a MMORPG session, a game of foosball, making a pro-and-con list, a loop of intrusive thoughts.
