Steve trained in the Meisner technique in his hometown of Toronto at The New School Of Drama before heading to study at The Neighborhood Playhouse in New York. Additionally, he's trained at The Second City. Most recently, Steve has appeared in episodes of the new HBO/Cinemax series, Jett and will be appearing in Prime's The Expanse. As a writer, Chambers made 3 short films he'd also directed and produced, 2 of which aired nationally on TV, 1 of which made it to film festivals. He's partnered with a few different folks to write a few comedy shows that have been, and continue to be, pitched. Chambers was partnered with another writer to help add to yet another gritty, fight film called, Beautiful Country. Beautiful Country was 1st runner up at the Canadian Film Festival screenwriting contest. As well, Chambers has written and performed in a series of sketches that have been used as a visual aid in order to help pitch yet another comedy series entitled, Jumping The Shark. Steve's put together show bibles for some original ideas, as well as pilot scripts and has written quite a few features on his own. He's now trying to get his films and television series’ made. Most recently, a feature Steve co-wrote, Driving Backwards, was optioned and another feature he co-worte, The Wishing Tree, was produced and has wrapped production.
