My commissions include the 2018 feature ‘Of Fish and Foe’ for BBC Scotland, the Sundance hit ‘The Moo Man,’ two documentaries on Princess Diana for ITV, ‘The Hunt,’ BBC (Cultural Prix Italia Winner), and scores for Discovery, Ch4, Ch5, PBS, and Cinema. My style ranges from classical-romantic to more dissonant, depending on the remit, I sometimes mix my love of piano with live strings, woodwind and sampled sounds for some of my scores, including the Grierson Award-nominated “The 2000-Year-Old Computer” for BBC (2013). I am also a professional actor and VoiceOver artist, I voiced ‘the Gatekeeper’ in the cinema released ‘Pilgrim’s Progress’ (Herald Entertainment, USA, 2020)

Music Reel : Odour of Chrysanthemums (drama) & 'Charlotte: A Royal at War' (documentary)

In this reel, is a clip from my score for the DH Lawrence short story, 'Odour of Chrysanthemums', adapted, photographed and directed by Mark Partridge, with whom I have collaborated on a number of projects and with writer/ producer Andrea Wallace Grant. It features actors Geraldine O'Rawe, Geraldine James, Jake McCollough. (Scored for string trio and piano) The second clip is from a documentary by Grace Productions for BBC Knowledge and Luxembourg cinema about Queen Charlotte of Luxembourg and her important role in World War II. Channel 4 TV Gardening Series "Fruity Stories" - clip

This was an 8 part series about fruit gardening for 'Channel 4', produced by Martin Chilcott of Hourglass Pictures, directed by Robert Carter, Simon Everson and Martin Chilcott. I was given about 6 weeks to score the music, played by Ray Simmons (Trumpet), Philippa Davis (Flute), Caroline Dale (Cello) Roger Green (viola) myself on piano and using a range of sampled sounds mixed with the live instruments.
