Kids Tracing Worksheet Design – Food Adventure Practice Page
This project features a clean, engaging, and educational tracing worksheet designed to support early childhood learning, handwriting development, and vocabulary recognition. The worksheet focuses on the words “Almond” and “Brazil,” giving children repeated tracing opportunities to improve letter formation, spelling familiarity, and fine motor skills through structured practice. The layout is intentionally simple and well-organized, ensuring young learners can focus without feeling overwhelmed. Each tracing line is spaced for clarity and ease of use, making it suitable for preschool and early elementary levels. The inclusion of hand-drawn nut illustrations adds a playful and visually appealing touch while still maintaining a distraction-free learning environment that keeps attention on the task. Special attention was given to creating a print-friendly design, with balanced spacing, clear typography, and high contrast for easy readability both in digital and physical formats. This makes the worksheet ideal for classroom activities, homeschooling, tutoring sessions, or printable learning resources. Overall, this project highlights my ability to design functional and visually engaging educational materials that support early literacy, handwriting practice, and interactive learning, while maintaining a professional, user-friendly layout suitable for children. graphicdesigner illustrator designer
Children book illustrator for Nuah and the Shiny Shoe
Nuah and the Shiny Shoe is a heartwarming children’s story about confidence, self-discovery, and learning that true shine comes from within. As both the editor and illustrator on this project, I worked closely with the manuscript to refine the emotional pacing, simplify language for early readers, and ensure the story flowed naturally across each spread. My goal was to preserve the core message while making it engaging and developmentally appropriate for children. On the illustration side, I created expressive, character-driven visuals that enhanced the storytelling rather than distracting from it. The art style was designed to feel warm, inviting, and emotionally relatable, using soft compositions and child-friendly proportions to help young readers connect with Nuah’s journey. Key Contributions: • Manuscript editing for clarity, rhythm, and age-appropriate language • Visual storytelling aligned with the emotional arc of the story • Character design focused on expression and relatability • Consistent illustration style across all spreads • Print-ready formatting for publication This project strengthened my ability to merge storytelling psychology with visual creativity, ensuring that both words and images work together to leave a lasting impression on young readers.
Watercolor Children’s Book Illustration | Lila & the Cat Story
A heartwarming children’s book illustration featuring Lila, a playful toddler, and her gentle cat companion, designed to capture emotion, curiosity, and early childhood connection. In this project, I handled both the story development and full illustration process—from initial concept and character design to final artwork and layout composition. The visual style is inspired by soft watercolor textures, using a pastel color palette, gentle lighting, and subtle details to create a calm, inviting atmosphere suitable for young readers. Each element was carefully crafted to ensure consistency in character appearance, expressions, and movement across scenes, helping to build a strong visual narrative. The composition was designed as a double-page spread, allowing the illustration and text to flow seamlessly while enhancing reader immersion and storytelling impact. Special attention was given to spacing, readability, and how the artwork supports the story without overwhelming it. This project highlights my ability to combine storytelling with high-quality children’s book illustration, making it ideal for picture books, educational stories, and emotionally engaging narratives. It also reflects my strength in creating publish-ready layouts that align with industry standards while maintaining a unique, memorable style.
