He studied COMPOSITION AND ARRANGEMENTS at the Modern School of Music, graduating with maximum distinction in 1995. On 2011 receives the National Music Award "President of the Republic" for his work developing Chilean music productions. On 2015 ends the postgraduate specialization on Composition and on 2017 Completes the Master Of the Arts-Composition both at the University of Chile. He has composed and produced 23 albums, between 1989 and 2024. He has scored for TV programs, Documentaries, Films, Theater, Ballet and big events. In November 2023 he composed and produced the music for the closing ceremonies of Panamerican and Para-Panamerican Olimpic games. Within his compositions we can find piano and other solo instruments, acoustic and mixed ensembles, chamber and symphonic orchestras, choir, electronic, folk, ethnic and rock instrumentation. He is regularly touring in Chile, south and north America, Europe and other territories with his “Subhira Quintet”. In 1993 he founded MUNDOVIVO label, which has released more than 100 albums from 30 world music and folk bands. He produces the “World Music Festival” of Santiago (Chile) now on it´s 23rd edition.
