Rudi Sucipto

I’m Rudi Sucipto, a self-taught Indonesian illustrator and comic artist based in Surabaya. I grew up in Malang, East Java, and my fascination with comics started in elementary school when my father worked on religious comic stories and imagery, inspiring me to create my own entertaining artwork.

I’ve spent years building credits across children’s magazines, comic contests, web strips, coloring pages, and sequential comic work—creating illustrations, character designs, covers, and full-color pages for various studios and publishers. I’m most passionate about comics and illustrations that are enjoyable for everyone, blending storytelling and engaging visuals to entertain readers of all ages.
