As an advocate for arts education and a former primary school art teacher, Sumaya has been facilitating creative workshops for all ages for over 20 years. Sumaya has illustrated four independent children’s books, including a resource for children from minority backgrounds for The Australian Muslim Women's Centre for Human Rights.
