I’m a camera operator and documentary director based in Beijing, with over 20 years of experience across television, documentary production, and location filming. Since 2011, I’ve worked extensively with the Documentary Channel of China Central Television (CCTV), where I develop and direct documentary projects while also handling hands-on camera work—covering everything from research and interviews to observation-based shooting, location production, and post-production.
I also work as a freelance filmmaker for corporate, institutional, and on-the-ground real-world productions, supporting everything from interview filming and corporate events to promotional and government/institutional video work. My approach is story-driven and detail-focused—balancing fast-moving field environments with strong technical execution in lighting, audio, and editing, including tools like Final Cut Pro and DaVinci Resolve.
