Hi, I’m Swathi Ramasahayam, a VLSI/embedded systems researcher and engineer with a PhD from IIIT Hyderabad. My work centers on non-invasive blood parameter estimation using fingertip photoplethysmography, blending CMOS/analog/mixed-signal design with sensor interfaces to create portable, affordable health sensing solutions. I enjoy translating complex hardware concepts into practical healthcare technologies and collaborating across disciplines to push the boundaries of biomedical electronics. Over the years I have taught Analog Integrated Circuits and Digital Design at BVRIT College of Engineering and gained industry experience as a Mixed-Signal Design Engineer and RF/Analog Design Engineer. I’m motivated by mentoring students, partnering with cross-functional teams, and exploring how hardware innovations can enhance medical diagnostics and everyday sensing technologies.
