Hi, I’m Sydney P. Munn, a senior in NYU’s Game Design Program who blends storytelling with hands-on technical craft. I’m a musician who loves weaving narrative experiences into playable worlds, and I enjoy collaborating with teams to craft memorable interactions.
I’m eager to work with industry professionals, grow in leadership and design, and contribute to innovative projects across interactive media. When I’m not designing games, you’ll find me playing guitar or exploring how sound and music can deepen player immersion.

Moribund, in which you play as an infected person, in the midst of a zombie apocalypse, but you turn into a zombie much slower than the others:
Adventure/Stealth/Interactive/Horror
Takes place over 2 weeks
Talk, explore, hide
Choose who to tell your secret
The term ‘Moribund’ means (of a person) at the time of death! The ending you get is entirely influenced by the actions you take.
Author of this Speedrunning Games Manifesto. Imagine: you unlock your phone and open Twitch . . . A live streamer named Rayoh playing Minecraft catches your eye. You open the stream and realize they are attempting to beat the world record for the fastest time completing Minecraft in the 1.17.1 version. You hear your washing machine chime; the wash cycle is complete. “Surely, I won’t miss the whole run if I switch my clothes to the dryer” . . . [but] In only one minute and 56 seconds, the run is over. . .
I assisted with the Narrative and Level Design for Hooked, a 3D adventure game on Roblox that revolves around the use of alternative forms of movement to normal walking. It is a game in which players must save their ex-partner (in crime) from maximum security prison by utilizing the grappling hook and using the other terrain to dodge prison guards and make it to the end.
The assignment involved programming a console-based card game (I chose UNO) using Java. Project was meant to reflect growth, abilities, and content knowledge of Computer Science (i.e., use of objects, inheritance/polymorphism, ArrayLists, recursion, etc.).
I am the Narrative-Builder and Sound Designer for La Nuit Restera (The Night Will Remain) a simulation game where you, the player, are the only barrier between the outside world and the infamous black market known as LA NUIT. In this game, you will have to observe documents, spot discrepancies, and only let those who are truly worthy enter into the market.
