Over the past six years, I created the brand identity for Your Script Produced! Studios/Doval Bacall Entertainment, (as seen in Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, and Screen Daily), promotional material for AIGA Detroit and the Detroit Sound Conservancy, assisted with animation for Lawrence Tech University, and created assets to local filmmakers such as movie posters (that come to life via augmented reality), storyboards, and title cards.

Carleton Gholz, the founder of the Detroit Sound Conservancy (DSC), asked me to promote the conservancy’s third annual conference titled detroitsound3. As this is my first time having my work published, it became an offer I couldn’t refuse. The poster was designed to capture the “soul” of Detroit’s musical identity and served as a visual homage to the Graystone Ballroom that once stood where the event was to take place: the Detroit Center for Design + Technology (DCDT). Later, the poster was put on display at the Detroit Historical Museum from January 19 to April 7 as part of the DSC’s Salvaging Sound Exhibition. I was recruited by the lead animator and the director (who was also the head of marketing at Lawrence Tech) to assist in creating a holiday short by providing additional animation and touch-up on some background plates for their then-upcoming Holiday-themed short film inspired by the Rankin-Bass classic Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. animator
