Hi, I’m Gilbert Ekow Ampah. I’m a Ghanaian film and television production designer based in Accra. I hold an MSc in Communication Studies from the University of Cape Coast and a BFA in Film and Television from NAFTI, and I love shaping stories visually through production design, art direction, and thoughtful post-production.
Over the years I’ve contributed to international projects with partners like Netflix and Drama Republic, including Beast of No Nation and Black Earth Rising, as well as many local productions. I thrive in collaborative environments, turning concepts into tangible sets and compelling visuals, and I enjoy guiding creative teams from concept through post-production.
