I'm Ezra Cooper, also known by my preferred name Taliesin. I’m a fantasy writer and illustrator with a passion for myth, culture, and storytelling, currently finishing the first novel in my Tales of Cedyrn series and planning further books and cross-media projects. I studied Illustration at Arts University Plymouth and have a strong background in English Language and Art & Design, along with a growing portfolio of illustrated stories and myth-inspired world-building. I’m excited to explore bringing my work to life through audio, visual art, and collaborative storytelling. My specialisms in illustration involve medieval illuminations, floral and botanical illustration, and William Morris inspired pattern making. I mainly work by hand in pen and ink, which is then scanned through onto a computer to be refined digitally. I also work digitally in Krita. I enjoy researching mythology and languages, and I’d love to take on Shakespearean or theatre projects alongside writing. I have a solid command of English and some exposure to Welsh, French, and German, and I’ve traveled to China, North Africa, and America to broaden my horizons.
