I love to draw and have done so from a very young age. I love to paint both traditionally and digitally. I love illustration and have been doing that for nearly 20 years. I also love gaming and have been very fortunate as that is the field where I have done most of my professional work, with a few stints in film and some comics. I was the art director of a popular gaming magazine called, GameFan, where I also illustrated the cover every month. I have been a digital artist for various video game development companies. I also worked at Stan Winston Studio for a number of years as a key-artist and character designer, on such films as Jurassic Park the Lost World and Terminator 3. Recently I have created all the art for several table top games, for Trick or Treat Studios. I am also creating art for Spirit Halloween in their "home decor" section. I have illustrated numerous book covers as well. I feel I would be a good fit at your company because I love drawing and painting. Even when not working on a job, I'm constantly painting my own line art and sketches in Photoshop. I love creating my own color schemes and have always had high marks in my color and design classes. I have maintained a healthy amount of freelance work since graduating Cal Arts, but have been solely freelance since 2019. Prior to that I worked in the advertising industry for about ten years as a senior illustrator for a couple of agencies, whose area of focus was the gaming industry. I worked on key art and packaging for numerous A-list titles for companies such as Microsoft, Xbox, Activision and many others. In my spare time I paint fine art portraits of classic monsters and pop culture icons that I show and sell at conventions and galleries around LA.
