Francesco D’Apollo, also known as Apollo, is a sound designer, composer, and live performer of electronic music. Across all his projects, a strong cinematic influence shapes immersive performances that go beyond the club experience. Contrast is central to his approach, bringing together softness and intensity, meaning and groove. Through modular synthesis, music coding, and live recordings, each project becomes an experiment pushed to its limits. Currently based in the Netherlands, Apollo is now conducting research within the Art of Sound department at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague.
