I’m Thomas Mayne, a theatre artist and creative director trained in theatre directing. I studied at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and have since dedicated myself to professional theatre directing, debuting my first work Imaginamos Todo lo que No Podemos Enterrar (we imagine everything we cannot bury), which premiered at Teatro del Puente and Teatro Sidarte in 2025. I lead the overall design and production of my projects and collaborate closely with artists and collectives.
My practice also spans textile arts, costume design and garment creation, along with styling for artists. I design costumes for theatre productions, contribute styling work for collaborative projects, and maintain a self-taught sewing and textile practice. I am driven by aesthetics and dialogic collaboration, guided by a passion for agile teamwork and attention to detail.
