paper Digiphile – Brand & Website for a Challenger Law Firm

Digiphile is a UK-based challenger law firm specialising in data protection, artificial intelligence and digital regulation. Legal 500 listed and working with over 115 clients globally, they needed a website that reflected their actual approach: plain-speaking, human and genuinely different from the typical law firm.

Most legal websites follow the same template: formal language, generic imagery and little guidance on what the firm actually does or who it helps. Digiphile wanted something cleaner and more approachable, with clear service pages that made their offering easy to understand at a glance.

We designed and built the website with a visual identity that stands out in the sector while still feeling professional and credible. A big part of the work was the content itself. We researched the relevant legal areas, helped shape the service pages and wrote copy that explains complex topics in plain, useful terms without dumbing things down. The result is a site with clear navigation, well-structured service pages and messaging that actually means something to the people reading it.

Trust-building elements are placed throughout, including Legal 500 recognition, client numbers, international reach and team bios that show the people behind the firm. The Simple. Strategic. Actionable. philosophy runs through the whole site, which is exactly how the firm works in practice.

The result is a website that positions Digiphile clearly as a modern, credible law firm and gives prospective clients what they need to understand the services and get in touch with confidence.

paper Digiphile – Brand & Website for a Challenger Law Firm

Digiphile is a UK-based challenger law firm specialising in data protection, artificial intelligence and digital regulation. Legal 500 listed and advising over 115 clients globally, they needed a website and brand identity that reflected who they actually are — forward-thinking, human, plain-speaking — rather than defaulting to the cold, corporate look typical of the legal sector.

The challenge was standing out in an industry where websites tend to look identical: dark navy palettes, stock imagery, heavy formal language. Digiphile wanted to be visually distinctive and signal immediately that they do things differently. Their guiding philosophy — Simple. Strategic. Actionable. — needed to come through in every design decision, while still communicating credibility and professionalism to global clients.

We designed and built a bold, colourful website that breaks from legal convention. The visual identity uses vibrant colour to create immediate contrast against the sea of corporate grey that dominates the sector, while clear typography and structured layouts keep everything readable and purposeful. Trust-building elements were woven throughout — credentials such as Legal 500 recognition, client numbers and international reach are surfaced early, and the team pages use personality-driven bios that show the humans behind the firm. The Simple. Strategic. Actionable. brand framework was used to anchor the messaging across every page, reinforcing their positioning clearly and consistently.

The result is a website that feels genuinely different in the legal sector — approachable and colourful without sacrificing credibility. It positions Digiphile clearly as a modern challenger firm that cuts through complexity, and gives prospective clients confidence from the very first visit.

paper Friendly Figures – Accounting Brand & Website Redesign

Friendly Figures is an accounting service focused on removing the stress and confusion often associated with finances. They needed a modern website and refreshed brand that made accounting feel approachable, transparent and easy to act on.

Accounting websites often feel heavy, technical or intimidating — Friendly Figures wanted the opposite. The challenge was creating a simple, welcoming digital presence that reassured potential clients, showcased expertise and made getting in touch feel effortless, while evolving the visual identity without losing the original spirit of the brand.

We rebuilt the brand and website around clarity, friendliness and simplicity. Key information is structured into short, confident blocks with supporting icons for quick scanning. The blue palette provides familiarity and trust, while updated typography and spacing bring a modern feel. Calls to action are placed where they count, including a quote request in the hero and a full contact form at the bottom. Testimonials, service highlights and credibility badges are woven throughout the page.

The final website successfully balances professionalism with approachability. Visitors can instantly understand what Friendly Figures do, why they’re credible and how to get in touch. We also refined the logo to lean into the approachable tone of the brand, using basic mathematical signs arranged as tiles — playful without losing professionalism — and updated the typography and colour tones for a more contemporary feel.

paper Aalarm UK – Security Services Website Redesign

Aalarm are a family business with over 20 years of experience installing burglar alarms, CCTV and entry systems across North London. They needed a professional web presence that reflected their experience, built trust quickly and made it easy for prospective customers to get in touch.

Security is an industry built on trust. Customers want to know who is behind the business, what the service includes and how to contact someone real. The previous website lacked credibility, had no service clarity, and didn’t highlight reviews or social proof. With most enquiries happening by phone, clear call-to-actions were essential.

We designed a modern, credibility-focused website with prominent contact details, high-visibility CTAs and a structure that’s easy to scan. Testimonials and Checkatrade reviews were integrated early in the journey, supported by on-the-job photos of the founder to humanise the business. We refreshed the visual branding while retaining the blue and red colour palette, introducing a cleaner logo and consistent design language. The site was planned with SEO-friendly foundations and service-based search intent in mind.

The new website presents Aalarm as an established and credible security provider, helping customers feel confident from the first visit. Early feedback has been positive, and the site has already begun generating more leads and phone enquiries — accurately reflecting the standard and reliability of the service.

paper Life Hike – Smart E-Commerce Shop for Hiking Products

Life Hike is a modern outdoor e-commerce brand selling both physical hiking gear and digital courses. The goal was to build a focused shopping experience with strong mobile performance, intuitive navigation, and a clear route from product discovery to checkout.

The main challenge was keeping the shop feeling simple while supporting detailed filtering across a broad catalogue. The site also needed to sell digital courses behind a paywall and membership access system — all within one seamless shopping journey.

We designed a structured category system paired with a custom filtering experience, allowing shoppers to refine products by size, colour, gender and key features without friction. The build supports physical products and digital downloads, including protected content behind a paywall. A simple course catalogue was built with clear CTAs and recognisable visuals so customers can choose a course quickly.

The result is a polished, responsive shop that feels intuitive and is ready to scale. Browsing is quick, product discovery is smooth, and the site supports both traditional e-commerce and digital product revenue in a single platform.

We also created a bold outdoorsy brand identity, including a logo with boot-print iconography, a high-contrast dark grey and orange palette, and a set of course illustrations using consistent silhouette styling across the site.

paper Calm Construction – Mindful Home Renovation Website

Calm Construction specialise in home renovation and building projects delivered with a focus on mindfulness, clear communication and a stress-free experience. The website needed to reflect that ethos — using considered colours, gentle typography and simple page layouts that put potential clients at ease.

Most construction websites lean into hard lines, bold colours and heavy technical language. Calm Construction wanted the opposite. Their unique selling point is the quiet, smooth and drama-free way they work, so the digital experience had to feel calm from the first visit. It also needed to showcase enough real work to reassure visitors without becoming busy or visually overwhelming.

We built a soft, earthy visual identity centred around greens, beige and warm neutral tones. Clear typography, generous spacing and intuitive navigation kept everything easy to digest. Project photos and testimonials were woven throughout service pages to offer credibility without disrupting the relaxed flow. The overall structure prioritised clarity, simplicity and reassurance for homeowners weighing up contractors.

The finished site communicates Calm Construction’s mindful approach, helping them attract clients who value a stress-free renovation experience. Visitors can quickly understand what makes the company different, explore real project work and feel confident reaching out for a quote — the website now accurately matches the company’s ethos and supports their positioning in a crowded construction market.

paper Saval UK – Brand & Website Overhaul

Saval UK is a nationwide facilities and hospitality support provider working with hotels and facility managers across the UK. They needed a modern website that clearly explains a wide service offering, builds trust quickly, and encourages enquiries — with strong SEO foundations for long-term growth.

The main challenge was presenting a broad range of services without the site feeling busy or confusing. Visitors needed to quickly understand what Saval UK do, who they help, and how to get in touch — while also feeling credible to large hotel decision-makers.

We designed and built a clean WordPress site with clear navigation and informative, easy-to-scan service pages. A clear service grid with visual icons makes the wide offering easy to understand at a glance. Testimonials and industry accreditations were integrated to build trust fast, and on-page SEO with a local SEO-friendly structure was built in from the start.

The result is a site that reflects Saval UK’s standards and makes it easy for hotels to understand their services and get in touch. SEO visibility has been growing steadily, and the director reports the website helped land at least one larger contract alongside regular enquiries through the contact form.

We also delivered a brand refresh including a new logo, business cards, leaflets, folders, magazine pages and van stickers — creating a unified brand across all touchpoints.
