Tim Hammond composes and produces music for film, television, advertising, theatre, ballet, and production libraries, and is known as the ‘swiss army knife’ of composers. His music often incorporates elements of both traditional and modern techniques, blending rich harmonies with contemporary ideas. He currently has an extensive catalogue in the Universal Production Library, and has had enjoyed success with track placements and custom tracks across platforms such as Netflix, BBC, Disney+, Sky, Channel 4, Discovery, NASA and more. Tim’s versatility and creativity have made him a sought-after composer in the industry.
Tim was the orchestral manager for many years at the theatre production company Bill Kenwright Ltd. where he musically supervised shows such as Heathers, Cabaret, and Saturday Night Fever.
He is now well-equipped to take on all types of composing and production work from small independent projects to large film sound tracks.

The cinematic soundtrack for 'No Fire Zone' was arranged and orchestrated for studio orchestra by Tim Hammond for Channel 4 / ITN Productions. No Fire Zone is a 96 minute Emmy nominated feature documentary which tells the story of the final months of the 26-year long Sri Lankan civil war. Made in 2013 it was updated and expanded in 2015 with important new evidence. No Fire Zone is directed by the Nobel Peace Prize nominee Callum Macrae, a Peabody and Colombia Dupont Broadcast Journalism Award winner and Greirson and BAFTA nominee.
