Tom is known for combining a musician’s ear with meticulous technical detail. His recent mastering projects include Jordan Rakei, Kelli-Leigh, Kristen Hersh and Dexys, alongside remastering work for Girls Aloud and Cass McCombs. He has also been integral to projects for The Beatles, Elton John and The Sex Pistols, plus many more legacy acts.
Tom’s path began as a bassist, later moving into the studio to collaborate with artists such as Adam Levine, Greg Alexander and The Overtones. Joining Abbey Road in 2016 as an assistant engineer, he soon made the move into the mastering team. With a particular appreciation for the depth and character of analogue workflows, Tom blends classic techniques with modern precision to create masters that bring out the full clarity, energy and emotion in every record.
