I am a documentary editor and producer with 15 years of experience creating factual content for broadcast and digital platforms. I hold a Bachelor of Management degree from the University of British Columbia, with a focus on Finance and Media Studies. Over the course of my career, I have edited and produced more than 60 hours of documentary programming, shaping stories from development through final delivery. My work is rooted in character-driven storytelling, with a focus on finding the emotional core of a story and presenting it in a way that feels authentic, engaging, and accessible to audiences. Over the last eight years, I have specialized in projects that provide meaningful representation for people with disabilities, helping bring underrepresented voices and experiences to screen with dignity and honesty. Much of this work has been created for AMI-tv, where I became very familiar with accessibility standards, inclusive storytelling practices, and the importance of authentic on-screen representation. I have worked closely with contributors, consultants, and production teams to ensure stories are told respectfully and in alignment with disability inclusion best practices. My recent credits include By Hook or By Cook, Off-Road Rescue, and Desert Racers. By Hook or By Cook received a Canadian Screen Award nomination for Best Writing, Factual, along with multiple festival honours including a Golden Sheaf Award. I bring both strong creative instincts and extensive technical experience to the edit suite, with a collaborative approach and a deep respect for sensitive, human-centered storytelling.
