I’m Toni Martin Dobrzanski (born: 1980, Copenhagen), a Danish composer and sound designer with Polish roots and 20 years professional experience. My work range from feature films (Wildbunch, indie), documentaries (BBC, ZDF, Danish National TV) to performing arts (Royal Danish Theatre, Stockholm City Theatre, Yerba Buena Center of the Arts) to commercials (BBH London, Bacon CPH, DDB). I live and work in Copenhagen and Stockholm, running sound studios, a film studio, and a co-working space in Stockholm.
Over more than fifteen years I’ve created soundtracks for feature films, documentaries, theatre, dance, TV, commercials, and campaigns, collaborating with directors and production companies across Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Germany, Austria, the United Kingdom, the USA, Russia and more. My music ranges from live symphonic orchestras and electronic soundscapes to a modern indie sound, and in my later work a sound design approach has become a conceptual playground for a project-specific voice. Whether performing live on stage or delivering a multi-channel surround experience for a large-scale theatre piece, I’m always chasing a unique and personal expression. I’m also active in the electropop duo AMiBA with the release of the album VUE.
I also studied film & media science and specialised in the film craft with hands-on practice —working as a camera operator, lighting technician, and editor among other roles. I led production and delivery as Head of Video Technology at Bonnier Publications, and later Head of the Film Department at soundsound, where I oversaw moving-image projects and client relationships across corporate videos and broadcast commercials.
In 2007 I founded SoundComposer, which grew into soundsound ApS in 2015 to focus on music and sound for moving images and human expression. Since 2023 we’ve expanded with a branch in Stockholm, Playbound Underground, a 220 m² co-working space with sound studios, a film studio, meeting facilities, and gear available for hire.

In the sequel, the music needed to reflect the world of the kids as they embark on a detective adventure while navigating the challenges of keeping their friendship intact. Building on the musical concept of using instruments as “toys”, we expanded the palette by incorporating a spy music aesthetic — while also capturing the charm of a small ensemble attempting to sound like a grand big band.

The music needed to reflect the world of three kids getting into funny, chaotic situations. To capture this, I chose the cello as the main instrument, played like a bass — its lighter tone gives the music a playful character that a double bass wouldn’t achieve. Alongside this, I used several more unusual instruments from the studio, layered in to create a playful, curious vibe, as if the kids themselves were experimenting with different instruments just to hear how they sound.
The score also had to interweave with singer Marco Wanda’s original songs written for the film, so a significant part of the work went into making the songs transition smoothly in and out of the score, and vice versa.
Broadcast commercial for BBH London which has run several years on television.

The play explores destructive masculine energy. The music, composed by Toni Martin Dobrzanski, captures both the tenderness and softness present in all of us, and how it can be overrun by a destructive, stereotypical masculinity.
Kallocain is a futuristic theatre play created for Folkteatern Gävleborg.
The music and sound design, created by Toni Martin Dobrzanski, had to match both the human, emotional level and the hard, bureaucratic surveillance state — all tinted with a touch of humour, to keep it from becoming too heavy.
The music was performed live by two musicians. One triggering pre-made cues in Ableton Live, adding a touch of DJ turntable and looping a live horn player.
