The Loneliness of a Crash Test Dummy - 3D Character Story

IDENTITÀ 404 is a surreal, dystopian 3D animated short film directed by Raffaele Palmiero. The film follows a crash test dummy a being literally designed to crash as it lives a loop of isolation, digital escapism, and existential crisis
The narrative is told through a series of isolated, looped vignettes:

    1. The Simulated Life: The film opens with the dummy in a driving rig, wearing a VR headset, endlessly driving nowhere. He grips the steering wheel, but there is no road. It represents our addiction to simulated experiences.

    2. The White Noise: In a dark, empty room, the dummy sits alone in front of an old CRT TV showing only static. A wide shot reveals he is surrounded by emptiness, staring into the void for comfort.

    3. The Infinite Scroll: He is shown standing alone on an escalator, in an endless dark void, mindlessly scrolling on his phone that lights up his face. The shot later multiplies a line of identical dummies on the same escalator, all scrolling, all alone. A powerful visual for conformity, doom-scrolling, and the loss of individuality.

    4. The Consumption: The climax shows him buried in a mountain of trash - pizza boxes, takeout bags, cups surrounded by the artifacts of his consumption, staring blankly at the camera. He is consumed by what he consumes.

The film ends with the title card in bold red: IDENTITÀ 404 Identity 404 Not Found.

    Concept & Theme:
The project explores themes of isolation in the digital age, depersonalization, digital addiction, and the existential crisis of a generation. The choice of a crash test dummy is intentional: a human substitute who is meant to suffer impact, who has no identity of its own.

    Visual Style:
Dark, minimalist, and atmospheric. Cinematic single source lighting, moody volumetric fog, photorealistic materials for the orange leather suit, and very deliberate, slow, melancholic animation to emphasize loneliness and weight.

    Credits Mentioned in Film:
    Directed by Raffaele Palmiero
    Featuring Marco Riva, Elena Serra

EVbee LUX - Smart EV Home Charger 3D Product Visualization

This is a high-end 3D product visualization film for the EVbee LUX AC Home Charger, a Red Dot Winner 2024. The goal was to create a cinematic, photorealistic product film that showcases not just the premium design of the charger, but also its advanced internal technology and smart home ecosystem.

The tagline of the product is “Light Up Your Charging, Smartly” and the film is built around that - from the iconic glowing halo LED to the intelligent energy management.

What is Highlighted in the Film:

The animation is structured as a complete product reveal and tech breakdown:

Design & Aesthetics: Cinematic studio lighting, close-up macro shots showcasing the premium curved form factor, matte finish, and the signature RGB halo LED ring.
Core Technology Breakdown: Exploded view animations revealing the internal architecture:
    O-PEN Protection System
Integrated Modular Design for Easy Installation
    Passive Cooling Ventilation System
    Smart Features Visualization:
Personalised Settings for LED Indicator (RGB customization)
    RFID / NFC Authentication Support
App Control via WiFi, 4G and Bluetooth
Ecosystem Integration: 3D cutaway animation of a modern smart home demonstrating:
    Dynamic Load Balancing
    Dynamic Phase Balancing
    PV-Integrated Energy Management System
    Style & Execution:
Photorealistic CGI, dark studio environment, smooth product motion, and clean UI callouts. Created to be used as a commercial product film for e-commerce, marketing, and product launch.

This project demonstrates my skills in product modeling, photorealistic shading & lighting, hard surface animation, exploded view / tech breakdown animation, and cinematic product storytelling.
