I won Honourable Mentions in the Writer’s Digest Annual Writing Competition and the Dreamer’s Creative Writing Flash Nonfiction Competition. I hold a double bachelor's degree in English and International Development Studies from the University of Guelph. After fulfilling desktop publishing, holistic nutrition and teaching careers, I'm about to complete my MFA at the University of King’s College in May 2026. My thesis project, a memoir entitled The Aster Glass, is still in progress. I spend my free time paddleboarding on local lakes, and obsessing over fermenting the perfect bottle of tepahce.
