    The basket weavers in Bolgatanga in the far north of Ghana are renowned for the beauty of their baskets. However, as many of them age, eye conditions rob them of their sight and their ability to continue their livelihood making baskets.

    On this day, thanks to a pair of charitable organizations, many of the basket weavers got their sight, and their lives, back.
