After undergrad I studied media communications at Fordham University while working at The Shooting Gallery in New York City. There I served as Al Pacino’s assistant during the post-production of Chinese Coffee. I then studied cinematography & filmmaking at the New York Film Academy, winning Worldfest Flagstaff’s Gold Award for my thesis film.
Traveling to Spain I chronicled the life of a young bullfighter. Narrated by Roger Mudd, the documentary won Best International Documentary Feature at Chicago Latino Film Festival as well as New York & Los Angeles’s International Independent Film & Video Festivals.
I then enrolled at the Hollywood Film Institute, The Edit Center & Henninger Media Services. I joined the Marines, graduating from the DINFOS School of Journalism. Afterward I shot for MarinesTV, garnering the Thomas Jefferson Award, the Military Videographer of the Year Award, and the Sergeant William Genaust Award for my production support.
Since launching WinterCine, my work has appeared on ABC, CBS, CNBC, Discovery, FOX, History, MPT, MSNBC, NatGeo, NBC, Nickelodeon, PBS & WB, among others.
Above all, my extensive experience with all genres of visual storytelling has cultivated a keen, versatile eye when it comes to cinematography. My broad exposure has not only provided the added benefit of experience but has nurtured a manifold style which I bring to every project.
