My Role in the Creation of “Never Loved Me”
For this project, I took on total creative and technical control, handling the Full Production, Mixing, Mastering, and Sound Design to bring the track’s emotional weight to life from start to finish:

Full Production: I composed and arranged the entire instrumental foundation from scratch. I focused on building a shifting, dynamic progression that mirrors the lyrical narrative—taking the listener from quiet, vulnerable moments into powerful, driving choruses.

Sound Design: To give the track its unique, cinematic identity, I crafted custom ambient textures, foley layers, and synth patches. Every sound effect and transitional element was meticulously designed to evoke a sense of isolation and raw emotion, embedding the listener deep within the track’s universe.

Mixing: I executed a complex mixdown, ensuring LiSA’s vocals sit with absolute intimacy and clarity at the forefront. I built a massive, wide stereo image for the sound design and instrumentation, carving out precise space so the heavy low-end hits with maximum emotional impact without clouding the delicate mid-range melodies.

Mastering: Finally, I mastered the song to commercial streaming standards. I optimized the track for maximum depth, punch, and clarity, ensuring its wide dynamic range translates flawlessly whether it is heard on high-end studio monitors, club systems, or consumer headphones.

This track represents one of my most comprehensive solo production and engineering efforts, showcasing a seamless fusion of creative songwriting and high-end technical execution.
