    Dreamful || Short poetic documentary || Teaser

    Dreamful is a short documentary reflecting on life and death from an angle of ease and courage, viewing the simplicity and beauty of existence with delight. Farhad, the main character that the camera follows through land and water is a Persian prominent art collector who at the age of 80 embarks on a new grand project of creating an art island in Greece with his friend Fereydoun Ave. The island he chooses as his merit is a relatively small island called Chiliomodi, close to the holly island Patmos. The island Chiliomodi is owned by St John Monastery of Patmos, and has been a pilgrimage destination for centuries. Farhad Bakhtiar committing to rent the island for 30 years is to make it a more desired destination for pilgrims and artists and art admirers. The movie captures the time when Farhad is showing the island to his friend Fereydoun, the artist, for the first time and they are full of the enthusiasm for starting the project, despite of their age and the difficulties they are about to face.

    The movie is fragmented into raw and honest reflections of what our hero collected from the lessons of his life in 80 years of peace, exile, searching and rebuilding his home, to eventually just enjoying the bliss of making everyone around him happy and chasing his dreams.
