I was first introduced to marketing during my Bachelor's in International Media & Entertainment Management, where I also learned to use software such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Premiere Pro. During this Bachelor's, I did an internship in an events company in Luxembourg, where I worked as a Community Manager. I was in charge of promoting the company's events on social media, and I also helped the company organise these events. Following this Bachelor's, I pursued a Master's in Marketing, which furthered my knowledge in marketing and developed my research and critical thinking skills. After my Master's, I had the chance to do a traineeship as a Marketing and Event Assistant in the European Parliament, where I was tasked with promoting the 2024 European Elections on the social media channels of the Parliament. In addition, I helped with the organisation and management of events held at the Parliament’s Visitors’ Center. This entailed managing the reservations and creating a weekly newsletter to promote those events internally. This enabled me to develop skills in social media marketing, as I was in charge of planning the communication strategy of the Visitor's Center and then creating the social media posts. I developed these skills further during my last work experience as a Digital Marketing Officer in a casino in Brussels. Indeed, I was in charge of the social media pages of a media sports brand of the casino, which entailed creating the social media campaign and managing the creation of content surrounding sports news. Additionally, this brand was used to sponsor three professional football teams, and I was tasked with leveraging these sponsorships to create visibility and awareness for the brand. As a result, I was managing many projects simultaneously to create content and organise events with the football teams. That included creating videos with some of the football players, hosting sponsored events in the football stadiums and organising giveaways. Managing those projects involved a lot of communication with internal and external stakeholders, which helped me develop thorough communication skills. Alongside these projects, I was responsible for liaising with external agencies to produce content for our brand during selected football matches. As the main point of contact, I briefed the agencies on our needs, ensured they had all the necessary information and access passes, and provided feedback afterwards. Furthermore, I was also responsible for creating, organising and managing paid social media campaigns on Meta. Each month, I had to analyse the campaigns and then adapt them based on the findings.
