Vanessa Ann Sinden

With 27 years of experience, I am a multi-disciplinary Producer and Creative Leader, fluent in live action, animation, and marketing, dedicated to developing original African stories that captivate global audiences, blending creative vision, commercial insight, and strategic thinking. My work spans the full spectrum of filmmaking—from concept and development to production, creative strategy, and audience engagement.

I have produced Africa’s most successful animated films, including Adventures in Zambezia, Khumba, and Seal Team, and led high-profile projects for international partners such as Disney+, Netflix, and Disney Junior. Notable projects include Supa Team 4, Kaya and the Kimoja Heroes for Disney+, and Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire for Disney+. I am also a founding supporter of African Women in Animation, a network that mentors over 2,400 members and advances opportunities for women across animation, VFX, and gaming in Africa. My work continues to empower emerging talent and open doors for diverse voices on the global stage.
