I’m an independent filmmaker and content creator. I also have a long (over 20 years) history in tourism, mainly as a tour guide in Budapest. A few years ago I created the character of Luca Wunderbaum an overconfident always wrong silly travel show host. I produced a miniseries of travel show parody in Europe that was featured in several film festivals in Los Angeles. In the last 2 years with a producer partner we completed a feature film with the same character traveling across the continental US. The movie starts the festival run 2026 autumn in the meantime I am creating social media content as Luca. I’m also looking for paid work.

The Great American Road Trip in America follows Luca Wunderbaum, an overconfident Italo-Swiss travel host, as he sets out to make the ultimate television guide to the United States. But as Luca confidently misunderstands American geography, culture, food and almost everything else, the film behind the travel show begins to take over. Part road movie, part mockumentary and part making-of, the journey turns into an increasingly chaotic portrait of two filmmakers trying to finish a show while America—and their own production—refuses to cooperate.
The movie was completed in 2026 and it starts it’s festival season this fall.
