They set up and control microphones for presenters, guests and reporters, manage IFB and intercom systems, monitor sound levels and processing on the mixing console, and ensure a clear, stable and professional audio signal on air. They perform sound checks, coordinate with the director and the entire studio team, manage playback materials and monitor external connections from correspondents and OB teams. During the broadcast, they react quickly to noise, interruptions or technical problems and ensure the reliable operation of the audio equipment so that the broadcast runs smoothly and flawlessly.
