My name is Nicole Kelly, I am a Multimedia Composer and Multi-Instrumentalist with a Bachelors of Music in Composition and Vocal Performance from DePaul University. I am also currently in the process of completing my Masters of Music Composition for Media, TV and Film from Columbia College Chicago graduating in 2027. I have written music appearing in music for several award winning short films in the last two years, multiple of which have been placed in Festivals across the country including New York Latino Film Festival, Festival Fotogenia Mexico, DePaul Premiere Film Fest, Global Film Fest LA, etc. This has given me the experience of composing in a variety of genres: Jazz, classical orchestral, rock, electronic, folk I have experiencing mocking up full scores for orchestra and small ensembles using Dorico as well as composing, producing, and mixing and mastering with DAW’s such as Logic, Ableton, and ProTools to create realistic mockups of my scores for cinematic release. I have extensive experience in classical vocal performance as I studied opera for the last 11 years and have apprenticed and interned with the Palm Beach Opera, and am and award winning singer for competitions such as Hal Leonard Vocal Competition and Rising Stars Rotary Club Competition. I studied at prestigious programs such as Boston University Tanglewood Summer Institute, Brevard Summer Program, Washington National Opera Summer Program, and Musica Nelle Marche.
