Not all stories present themselves through research and outlines. Sometimes they come to you through fragments: an aged picture, a broken voice on a tape, the scent of fermented soy sauce coming from a kitchen that isn’t there anymore. This was the case with my story, “Threads of Seoul: A Weaver’s Tale.”
The initial contact came through a referral. No introduction of names but only an assurance: “My grandmother went through the division. She wasn’t interested in fame at all. She just wished to have someone who could hear her story.” Without any second thoughts, I agreed to sign the NDA. Some stories need no credit.
The first couple of months involved listening. I traveled to the apartment located in Gunma Prefecture where an elderly lady, probably around her eighties (and allow me to address her as Halmeoni for the purposes of this page since it isn’t her actual name), sat in front of me; her hands visibly shaking from years of weaving. The elderly woman spoke in Korean mixed with some Japanese, the language used by people who lost everything to regain it. I taped the whole session; around fifteen hours of audio clips in total.
This project is a first-person travel narrative based on a six-day journey through Osaka, Japan. It combines vivid place-writing, cultural reflection, and practical travel tech evaluation into a cohesive, immersive reading experience. The text is structured as three interconnected essays:
“A Day in the Osaka Castle” – A detailed, sensory-rich account of exploring Osaka Castle at dawn, from the hotel view and convenience-store breakfast to the castle’s architecture, history, and the quiet awe of the inner grounds. It emphasizes atmosphere, historical context, and personal contemplation.
I wrote a book and published it on amazon where : The Rats of Eden asks: what if a serial killer was reborn with the power to devour gods?
This is not the story of a hero who saved the world. This is an origin story about a calamity. After a ridiculous death, a psychopath was reborn as Agnar: an outcast in every sense of the word, an anomaly among ancient clans in lands of runic magic. His choice of the Void Rune-a sign of nothingness-unlocks for him a path of terrifying evolution by consumption.
Drowsy Diaries, Eldflora & Victolé : Immersive Narrative Audio Production
Produced and performed for a weekly slate of narrative podcasts. This project showcases my ability to handle full-cycle audio production: from psychologically-driven scriptwriting to professional voice performance and final mastering.
High-Emotion Character Acting & Immersive Audio
Specialized vocal performances for immersive narrative experiences and niche character roles. This project demonstrates high emotional range and the ability to adapt tone for ‘Vulnerable’ or ‘Intense’ character arcs.
Abstract & Vintage Digital Brand Illustrations
Specializing in abstract and vintage aesthetics that build ‘Digital Harmony’ for brands. These works have been utilized for pitch decks, marketing materials, and digital storefronts to create a premium, high-trust visual identity.
