My name is Marika Magri, I'm 24 years old and I'm a video editor and post-production artist. I graduated in Editing and Post-Production at the BlowUp Academy in Ferrara, with over 1800 hours of professional training behind me. During my academic career, I worked on a wide range of projects both within the academy and in a professional studio (where I still collaborate). The main software I have used and continue to use are DaVinci Resolve and Avid Media Composer. At MaxMan coop. studio, I work on a professional Avid Media Composer workstation, following real post-production workflows. In parallel with my formal training, I have independently experimented with artificial intelligence-based tools for audiovisual production in an academic context. Specifically, I've worked on sampling and speech synthesis from publicly available audio sources, generating audio and dialogue for analytical and narrative purposes. These audio materials were then combined with AI-based image animation tools to animate still images, exploring new forms of audiovisual storytelling. All of these audiovisual products were conducted exclusively for academic and non-commercial purposes, as part of my research on contemporary post-production languages and emerging tools. I've edited short films and experimental projects, developing a strong sense of rhythm, storytelling, and visual consistency. I'm particularly interested in arthouse cinema and projects that require special attention to atmosphere, rhythm and emotional impact. I'm a curious and proactive person, always ready to challenge myself, step outside my comfort zone and adapt to new creative and technical environments.
