Giltner Track Champions
This was a t-shirt design for the Giltner Track and Field Champions. The front of the shirt was pretty open to design and the back was pretty specific because it had names and events. The front of the shirt features their school mascot, the hornet, as well as which class they belonged to and what they were champions in. The typography in the middle is slanted to represent the road that they took to become champions and has a sporty feel that is blocky and a serif. Conviction is a fictional supporting brand for a Tennessee distillery. The name refers to the consequences that would be given if caught selling or making moonshine. This references the bootlegging and moonshiners that make and distribute the product. The packaging features a rustic, antique look that refer back to the 1800s when moonshining really took off in the United States. Throughout history riots have been a way for the people to stand up for themselves and what they believe in. However, the overall design does not have any historical elements. The tags feature tattoo like images that also tie into being a rebel and believing in yourself. The design of the tags are meant to reflect the clothing, which include graphic tees, tanks, jackets, etc. and sparkly jeans and shorts. Kearney Legion Baseball - Runs
This was a t-shirt design for the Kearney Legion Baseball Teams. The client gave open range for the design, but wanted a few options to choose from. For the first design, the focus is on the baseball player as well as the "Post-52" and "Runza" making it easily identifiable for other teams to recognize. The second design focuses more on the titles of the teams with a baseball design in the background, providing a nice overall shape to the design. The overall typography of both designs is very sporty and clean, bringing both designs together. I also provided mockups of the designs on shirts, so the client could get an idea of what they would look like on different colors.
