uniE621 PowerMarket - Illustration and Web Design for a Leading Solar Community
PowerMarket is a community solar marketplace that allows people to choose their power from local sources. Based in the United States, PowerMarket is trying to change the perception of solar power by making customers aware of how easy it is to convert their electricity supply to solar energy.

With PowerMarket's message about clean, green energy, they wanted a website to convey just that. Their previous website had served them well, but it was time to produce one that would catch potential users' eyes and convey their strong message.

PowerMarket needed a brand refresh that would be deployed across the entire website. Everything was up for grabs, including colours, typography, the use of illustrations, and their style.
The rebranding of the website received rave reviews from PowerMarket itself, and early client feedback showed that their customers also had positive reactions. As for the illustrations, I drew several different environments, from cityscapes to rural landscapes, and the client liked all of them. As such, we decided to change the background of the hero image based on where the user was located in the US.

 Deliverables included: • Logo design • Illustrations • Web design • Branded collateral #animation #illustrator #graphicdesigner #webdesigner #brand #branddesigner
uniE621 TruConnect - Mobile App and Web Design for a Leading Fitness Company
TruConnect is a fitness app encouraging people to adopt a healthy lifestyle through regular workouts, wellness, and healthy eating.

I worked closely with the client to design the application to make it exciting and attractive to potential new users and increase customer retention. Introducing features that users could enjoy and benefit from, including workout plan suggestions based on users' fitness habits and a community where users can share their achievements, mood check-ins, steps count, and extraordinary events where they can participate.

I also helped redesign their website, ensuring we covered all the benefits the app could bring to users while also giving them a glimpse into what TruConnect is about and its mission with the product.

We kept the overall aesthetics visually fun, young, and cool for the app and website. The colour palette is minimal, using deep pink for accents and main CTAs, a colour associated with action and energy. Meanwhile, black and white keep the rest of the content reliable, safe, and trustworthy.

 Deliverables include: • Mobile app redesign • Web design • A working UI design system • Extensive UX research • Redesigned a content management system #ui #uidesign #ux #uxdesign #productdesign #web #webdesign #sport
uniE621 Scratcher - Rebrand and Product Design for a Gamification Marketing Company
Based in Copenhagen, Scratcher is a leading digital marketing company specialising in gamification. The company was founded in 2017, and since then, Scratcher has established itself as a leader in marketing gamification. However, with all that success comes a responsibility to stay ahead of customer needs and expectations. The company must constantly learn, develop, and improve on its flagship product or otherwise risk falling behind. This is where I came in.

I worked with the Scratcher team for over four months, and we achieved a vast amount in that time. First, diving into market and competitor research, including current and future design trends, I designed a brand suitable for its target audience, reflecting Scratcher as a company. After the brand guidelines were developed and set up, I started with product design. Working alongside their developers and CEO, I conducted extensive UX research while designing a versatile UI component library.

 Deliverables include: • Logo design • Brand definition and guidelines #productdesign #SaaSdesign #logodesign #branding #webUX #webUI #webdesigner
uniE621 LogPoint - Product Design for a Cybersecurity Platform
Logpoint is a leading cybersecurity company based in Europe. I worked with their team for over six months as a visual designer. I was brought in to lead the rebranding of the entire company.

As with any rebranding project, I first got familiar with the cybersecurity market by looking at competitors, likely customer demographics, and how the whole market was evolving.

Keeping trends, user accessibility, and market research in mind, I designed a modern logo that amplifies Logpoint's stance as a modern, young, and alternative choice in the cybersecurity market.

After establishing the brand, I initially redesigned the company website by building a comprehensive design system. This was a useful exercise, as the design system gave us a single source of truth, allowing us to design elements instantly.

The project was a huge success, receiving amazing reviews from employees and customers. The redesigned website has already delivered a surge in engagement and traffic. Deliverables included: • Logo design • Brand definition and guidelines • A working design system • Extensive UX research • UI design • Website redesign • eBook and brochure design • Business card design #branding #webdesigner #productdesign #SaaS #logodesign #graphicdesigner #UIaudits
    uniE621 Truconnect
'TruConnect' is part of the TV.FIT family. It is a fitness application that helps encourage people to adopt a healthy lifestyle through video-based workouts and gamification to better improve overall wellness, mental health, and healthy eating. TV.FIT acquired another fitness application in 2020, and it was this application that was to be the foundation for their new product, TruConnect. The problem they faced was that they were only a web-based company; they hadn't taken the leap onto mobile applications. That's where I came in. Armed with an established brand, I started by creating a working component design system to ensure we had a single source of truth. As this was TV.FIT's first mobile application, we took some time to invest in UX and accessibility research. After this research was completed, I moved on to the UI design. Working closely with the client, I designed an application that is exciting and attractive to potential new users, which has increased customer retention since its launch. The new application has allowed TV.FIT to introduce new features that users could enjoy and benefit from, including workout plan suggestions based on users' fitness habits and a community where users can share their achievements, mood check-ins, step count, and extraordinary events they can participate in. In addition to the mobile application, I also helped redesign their website and their content management system. #ui #uidesign #ux #uxdesign #productdesign #web #webdesign #sport

    uniE621 Collective Benefits
'Collective Benefits' is a London-based insurtech firm. Their unique selling proposition (USP) is providing a dedicated employee benefits platform for independent workers within the 'on-demand economy,' offering flexible insurance and benefits tailored specifically to independent workers, ranging from sick and injury pay to family and compassionate leave. In partnership with Shoreditch Design Studio, we have been collaborating with Collective Benefits since the early days of our agency, starting in early 2020. During this time, we have developed UX/UI designs for their web application, marketing materials, and client-facing presentations. As they observed the company's growth, they expressed a desire for a brand that aligns with their future direction. We created a brand that is engaging, visually appealing, and informative. The use of vibrant colors to highlight important elements on the site draws attention, while also complementing the linear illustration style. A subtle patterned background is employed to further emphasize key points, and the choice of the Galano Grotesque font, with its various weights, enhances Collective's tone of voice while keeping the subject matter in focus. #graphicdesigner #uidesign #webdesign #illustration #insurance
    uniE621 Barbuck
Barbuck is all about instant communication. They specialize in introducing buyers and sellers at the optimum stage in the buying journey. As the lead designer for the project, I began with the product's dashboard designs. Working closely with the client, we created a basic layout from UX research, reworking and developing it as we progressed into the high-fidelity designs you can see here. As the product expanded, I further developed the brand with illustrations and marketing campaigns. The final product has been widely well-received. Evidence of this can be seen through their continuously growing client base. Working alongside the client and their in-house developers, we have created a functional dashboard that collates and presents all the important information in a clear and polished format. Regarding the brand, our illustration style has become iconic for Barbuck, dominating their website and marketing materials. #design #cmsdesign #uidesign #uxdesign #dashboarddesign
    uniE621 Sport Buff
'Sport Buff' is a real-time fan engagement extension that uses gamification to engage audiences throughout the world of sport. It has the ability to be installed on mobile phones and streaming services, such as Twitch. The product is a white-label solution that empowers partners to create unique moments and retain viewers like never before. This project, which involves multiple devices and serves as an extension, proved to be quite challenging. UX research played a pivotal role here due to the size of the final product. For example, if a user is playing along with Sport Buff during a football match while watching the game on their phone, we needed to consider the amount of screen space the extension was occupying. Following the research stage, I collaborated closely with in-house web, iOS, and Android developers to design, build, and introduce a versatile design system that would serve as the foundation for each individual client, spanning across all platforms with ease. As a result of this work, Sport Buff asked me to explore upgrading the design of their Content Management System. This upgrade aims to facilitate the addition of new features and align it with the new mobile designs. #ux #uxdesigner #ui #uidesign #productdesign #accessibility #usertesting #userresearch #sport #quiz
    uniE621 Once
'Once' is one of the leading dating apps in Europe, boasting up to 10 million singles and facilitating thousands of couples and friendly relationships. The application has been available for several years, and consequently, the UX/UI had started to feel somewhat dated. The task was to modernize the appearance and user experience, while also introducing new features to ensure we preserved the product's identity, which would, in turn, enhance customer retention efficiency. In close collaboration with the client and their in-house developers, I approached this project in multiple stages. Initially, we addressed the sign-up flow, experimenting with various color palettes, typography options, and icon variations, all while preserving the core structure. Once we reached a design consensus, I proceeded to define and establish a design system that would be applied consistently across all other screens. Throughout every step of the process, I worked closely with our clients, helping create an authentic, user-centric product that captivates, excites, and maintains brand trust. My designs have not only boosted user engagement and retention but also upheld Once's position as one of Europe's leading dating application providers. #uidesign #uxdesign #productdesign #brand #brandesign #appdesign #datingapp #dating
