Hi, I’m Will Hewitt. I’m a documentary editor and filmmaker with extensive hands-on editing experience across Netflix, BBC, ARTE, and festival work. I specialise in documentary storytelling and love shaping observational content into engaging narratives for feature and short docs, whether for broadcaster versions or theatrical releases. I work with a collaborative, exploratory approach to storytelling and continually look for projects that invite different perspectives. I’m a dyslexic, neurodiverse creator who fell in love with storytelling. I’ve edited and co-directed BAFTA Scotland and RTS Scotland-winning films, and I teach documentary storytelling at NFTS Scotland and the Edinburgh College of Art & the Edinburgh Futures Institute.
