I’m William Dowling, an actor and creative with over 20 years of experience across theatre tours throughout the UK, including London, Hampshire, and performances at the Edinburgh Fringe. I’ve performed, written, co-created, and co-directed devised and scripted work, and I’m particularly drawn to character-driven storytelling and collaborative development from rehearsal through to performance.
Alongside acting, I bring a strong workshop and education background—running sessions for young people and schools as well as training opportunities such as Theatre503 playwriting and screen-focused workshops like Run at it Shouting. I’m also a certified fitness and personal training professional, which feeds into my stage practice through movement, discipline, and confidence-building, whether on stage, in interactive TIE work, or in voiceover and audiobook projects.
