Artwork ideation and conceptualisation with the Creative Director. Create mockups to aid clients or designers in visualising. Use Adobe CC, hand-drawn illustration, Wacom tablet or photography. Sample production at a smaller scale for physical viewing to sense the design and allow for layer experimentation and troubleshooting. Final artwork preparation in full scale for print production. Create structure and emphasis with layout and typography for marketing collateral such as company catalogues and brochure layouts for daily or event use. Social media content layout design for Instagram. Online media such as EDMS and newsletters.

As a freelancer I support core teams, working under the directives of the Creative Director and with the Art Directors. Artwork adaptations for marketing and advertising. Event and campaign design, collateral design on-site and online. Online media content such as Facebook posts, Instagram stories and posts, EDMS and web banners. Collaborated with Synergraphic Design to create bespoke artwork on glass for commercial or private residential venues, leveraging my background in graphic design and textiles print design. I managed projects end-to-end from concept to installation, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

Graphic Designer at Swan & Maclaren Pte Ltd

December 1, 2017 - May 1, 2018

As the sole graphic designer I worked closely with the Directors for PR and branding collateral such as the company’s historical brand book, the company’s portfolio for architectural submissions and website. Worked directly with historian Dr. Julian Davison on Swan & Maclaren’s historical brand book. Restored and edited high-resolution image scans from National Museum Singapore archives of original illustrations and floor plans. I handled structure, layout, look-and-feel, and print production preparation, along with image sourcing and licensing.

Temporary contract. Created the structure and layout of the 2017 WWF International Annual Report, selected typography, and used vector iconography and graphs to summarize achievements. Adapted artworks into merchandise for the 'Into the Wild' exhibition at Marina Bay Sands. Contributed to cost-saving through repurposing design. Produced event visuals and on-brand collateral.

Focused on exclusive figurine toy designs and merchandise for DC Comics and Sanrio’s Robot Kitty. Worked closely with Sanrio and the senior designer to develop toy figurines, merchandise, and packaging for Robot Kitty Singapore 2016. Executed online media posts (Robot Kitty 2016 X Citibank), EDM designs and country-specific website wireframes. Produced large-scale print designs for event spaces.
