I’m a multidisciplinary illustrator with a passion for blending traditional Chinese aesthetics with contemporary storytelling. My work has graced the pages of award-winning book series, including The Story of a Dream of Red Mansions and Journey to the West (Zhe Jiang Publishing House), as well as CD covers like The Pugilist (Shanghai, 2016). My illustrations thrive on cultural nuance, whether in children’s books (Wen Yan Qi Meng Ke) or fashion packaging (New York/Beijing designer Emily Yu). Trained in Chinese fine arts and holding an MFA from the Estonian Art Academy, I bring a cross-cultural perspective to every project. While my roots are in ink painting and gouache, I love experimenting with digital mediums to push narrative boundaries. I’m drawn to Twine’s creative community because I believe the best work emerges from collaboration—not just fulfilling briefs, but refining ideas together. Let’s craft visuals that don’t just accompany stories, but deepen them.
